Methodology

How we ran the test.

  1. 50 HVAC companies selected from Google Maps searches for 'HVAC Atlanta' and nearby neighborhoods (Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Alpharetta, Decatur, Roswell).
  2. Calls placed between 7pm and 7am on weekdays, plus full weekend windows.
  3. Each number called once. A voicemail was left requesting a callback for a same-day service question.
  4. Callback time measured from voicemail timestamp to first return call.
  5. Companies with no callback within 7 days recorded as 'never called back'.

Directional rather than statistically rigorous. A 50-company sample captures the shape of the problem without being a full census of Atlanta HVAC.
